Chapter 19. True Love's Kiss

It's the day of Wooyoung's graduation. His parents decided to throw a party. Of course, they invited me and the rest. My dad decided to follow us too. To congratulate Wooyoung. Wooyoung got accepted in Chugye University for the Arts which is also in Seoul.
-at the Party-
"Oh Annyeonghaseyo, Eun Mi. Wooyoung is outside by the garden," Mrs Jang said as she pointed out to the backdoor.
I walk carefully to the garden and found Wooyoung sitting alone by the mini waterfall. The garden was decorated with pretty little lights and potted plants. I tapped Wooyoung's shoulder and he looked at me with a smile.
"Hello, Eun Mi. Have a sit," Wooyoung said as he scooted a bit to give some space for me to sit.
"You're so lucky," I said as I sat down.
"Wae?" Wooyoung looked at me confused.
"You graduated. Your family throwing a party. Studying a good school in Seoul. You're very lucky."
"Well, at least you get to meet your friends still," Wooyoung laughed.
"Still, you're very lucky. For another reason.. I'll miss you, don't you find yourself lucky?" I teased.
"Very. Very lucky," Wooyoung hugged me.
It's our last night being together. No more meeting in high school. No more usual kisses in the middle of the foyer. No more jealous fangirls. It's not the same spending my time in high school without Wooyoung. Staring into his eyes in his garden, admiring the city lights and the stars. Everything seemed fine, except that.. The feeling isn't the same. The separation we're facing, I don't like it. I want him to stay in high school until I graduated. Together with him. Why didn't my dad move to Seoul earlier? I kept quiet long enough to make Wooyoung noticed.
"Yah, you'll be fine. It's not far anyways. I'll still be your dorky boyfriend, and you'll still be my beautiful girlfriend. We'll still be neighbours who act like we are not neighbours at all. You'll do great in high school, I promise you. I'll never forget those memories from bumping into each other and spending great time together," Wooyoung nudged.
I couldn't think of anything to say. Now in high school, I'll be the only girl without a guy. Yun Hee still has Chansung, Young Hae has Kikwang, Jin Shin has Junhyung and Shin Shin has DooJoon. Even though I feel left out, I can help them build stronger relationships. All of them lost their first kiss to someone. Chansung kissed Yun Hee during CCA Day after all the students left. Young Hae lost her's during Wooyoung's Cousin arrival, Jin Shin lost her's when Junhyung sent her home, Shin Shin lost her's during her picnic date with DooJoon.
"Wooyoung, I don't want you to leave just like this. I really hadn't spend a lot of time with you. I want to cherish our last day here, in the garden," I teared a little.
"Okay.. Um, no kiss?" Wooyoung blushed as he run this fingers through his hair.
I giggled and pulled him closer and gave him a kiss he will never forget. The music that was playing inside and people screaming inside was not heard by any of us. Until someone came and shouted,
"OMO, HYUNG! DAEBAK! DAEBAK!"
We turned and saw Taemin with a beautiful girl. It must be his girlfriend. She look splendid. We laughed at Taemin's compliment. As soon as the two of them disappeared, we continued kissing. I must face everyday without Wooyoung in school, I'll try my best not to communicate with other guys except our friends. I promised him that, once I graduated, I'll go to his University and spend our lives together. We began hugging under the stars that was shining brightly.

Chapter 18. Prom.

A day passed. Tonight is prom. I cannot help but freak out. I picked out my costume. I need to go to a salon and get ready by 5. Wooyoung promised me he would picked me up from the salon by 6.15.
-After doing hair-
Wooyoung called me and told me to wait for him outside the salon. I wrapped a cloak over my dress to surprise him and waited for him outside. Then a familiar black car stopped in front of me. The window was lowered down and I peeped and saw Wooyoung in a neat white tuxedo.
"Hello, come on in," He said with a wink.
I opened the door and carefully cover my dress with the cloak. But I know Wooyoung kept looking at me, to make me take off my cloak and reveal my white dress. But there's no way I'm going to do that. Ever. Until we reach the ballroom.
-at the ball-
Wooyoung is impatient to see my dress now. He kept tugging on my cloak but I managed to stop him. But he disappeared to find his friend. At that time, I quickly took off the cloak I was wearing and hang it on the clothes stand. Wooyoung came back with Taemin beside him with that shock expression.
"YEOPPOTA, NOONA!" Taemin exclaimed.
"Wow.. Yeoppo," Wooyoung stuttered.
I begin to blush at their compliments. I didn't know Taemin is going to be there with Wooyoung. Wooyoung and I begin wondering around the ballroom and found the rest our members. They were standing by the refreshment station. DooJoon wore a smart black tuxedo, Junhyung wore those hip hoppers tuxedo, Kikwang wore a maroon tuxedo with a black bow tie and Chansung wore a white tuxedo with a black tie. On the other hand, Shin Shin wore a silver dress and had waves on her hair, Jin Shin wore a shiny black dress with her hair flowing down by her side, Young Hae wore a maroon dress and her hair was in a bun and Yun Hee wore a white dress with a little butterfly brooch. Everyone look splendid.
"Omo, Eun Mi-ah! You can really be a model like this, look at you. Your curls are perfect," Yun Hee complimented.
"Aish, no way. I'm never going to be a model. Gomawo. You look splendid too."
We danced around the room to a ballad. Everyone had a great time. Wooyoung pulled me to the garden. I admired the stars while Wooyoung kept smiling. He suddenly pulled me closer and gave me a surprise kiss. I was lost in his world and had no words to describe the feelings.
"Eun Mi, I'm going to graduate soon. Don't worry. I'll choose a University near here. I'll always be by your side. I won't care any other girls. I promise," Wooyoung said, cheerfully.
"Better promise." I teased.
We spent the whole night together dancing and laughing with the rest. Even though it'll be our last meeting in High School. I'll remember the memories we had.

Chapter 17. Separation.

"Ah, Eun Mi." Mum stood up from her seat.
I couldn't react that time. But I could feel tears welled up my eyes. I didn't want to see her after what she did. I didn't want her to go back to that. Her temper.. I just couldn't take it. Now, I want to start a new life here in Seoul. And I saw her talking to dad, with papers on the coffee table? What are they thinking about? Getting back together. No way. I quickly run up the stairs and slammed my bedroom door. I threw my bag onto my study table and jumped onto my bed. I cover my face with a pillow and cry my eyes out.
"YAH, KIM EUN MI, GET DOWN HERE. WE HAVE SOMETHING TO DISCUSS ABOUT," Dad yell.
I don't want to go out there and see mum. I just cannot take it anymore. After all mum did, Dad still wants her back into our family? What the heck is he thinking about. I don't want a mum. Even if she suffers a lot. I don't want her. If she is going to get married to another guy, I'll accept it. But with dad, no way! But in the end, I did went down and sat far away from mum.
"Eun Mi, listen to what you're mum has to say. Do not say a word before she finish talking," Dad emphasized on the word "Not."
"Eun Mi, I know you are enjoying yourself here in Seoul. But, your grandma in America is ill. Appa can't follow due to his busy schedule. I was thinking of asking you. Do you want to go?" Mum asked.
I could only stare at Umma and Appa. I don't want to go back to America. Even if my grandma is ill. I just don't want to. I want to stay here in Seoul. America is a big NO.
"ANIO! I don't want to. I have a perfect life here in Seoul. I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO BUSAN NOR AMERICA. I HATE THEM. " I shouted as I stood up.
"What did I say, Eun Mi?!" Dad scolded me.
"YOU SAID NOT TO SAY A WORD BEFORE UMMA FINISH TALKING, NOW SHE HAS, I CAN TALK!" I shouted back.
Without hesitation, dad stood up and gave me a tight slap. I gave him and mum a glare and run up to my room with tears flowing down my cheeks. I don't want to separate with my friends. Not to mention Wooyoung. 2 days before prom, why wouldn't it be perfect, why must mum come now? Why not later? I slammed the door hard enough to break the walls. I couldn't help my drop to the ground and cry. That was the first time dad slapped me. I feel so useless, now.

Chapter 16. CCA Day.

Wooyoung waited outside my house as usual. He was dressed like a hunk today. Well, it's simply CCA Day today. I packed my training suit my mum bought for me last year. I still can fit into it. Four days before prom night and I won't be able to see Wooyoung. He's graduating in four days time. I'll be staying in this school for the next 2 years. After doing my hair and packing my stuff, I walk down the stairs, kissed my dad goodbye and walk out of the door.
"Good morning, sunshine," Wooyoung said cheerfully.
"Good morning."
Wooyoung opened the door for me and we're already starting our day as brand new people.
-in school-
People greeted me and Wooyoung while we're walking towards the canteen to find Yun Hee, Young Hae, Jin Shin and Shin Shin. Not to mention their partners. Yun Hee seem to be happy with Chansung by her side. They kept laughing and smiling together. Aigo, kyopta. Jin Shin and Junhyung looks closer today. Is it because they push themselves to know each other better. It's my first time seeing Junhyung and Jin Shin smiling.
"Annyeonghaseyo unnie," Shin Shin greeted.
Everyone is so cheerful today. I love seeing everyone smiling. We officially have no classes today as we need to go for CCA, the whole day. Well, our Professors handed out our schedules for CCA.
Schedule : CCA Day.
-Ice breakers.
-Auditions.
-Introductory session.
-Start CCA.
-End of school.
"What?! Half day of school?" Jin Shin exclaimed.
"Ye, it's only CCA Day. Not normal school days," Young Hae her unnie explained.
We all laughed at Jin Shin's question. Everyone knows it's a half day today. After the bell rang, everyone walk towards their own venue.
-In 2PM's studio-
"Annyeonghaseyo! 2pm imnida. Thank you all who chose 2PM's shuffle dance. I believe you guys know everyone of us. We do have a special help here, Kim Eun Mi," Taecyeon greeted the students with a 90 degree bow. Yun Hee was sitting beside me and screaming because of Chansung's muscles.
Wooyoung gave me a warm smile and a wink. The girls who chose 2PM's shuffle dance saw the wink and all of their reactions are like "Aigo, kyopta~" . I didn't mind much because I know a lot about fangirl mode. 2PM danced to "I Hate You" while the students cheered on non stop. Girls screaming, Boys yelling. Yun Hee can't keep her eyes off Chansung. Chansung on the other hand, kept looking at Yun Hee every 1 min. These two kids need to grow up.
-In Beast's Studio-
Kikwang told Young Hae to keep close to him because he doesn't want her to go to the other guys who sprawled on the floor. Jin Shin and Junhyung laughed their way to the studio. They look harmonious and cute. DooJoon on the other hand kept his hand around Shin Shin's waist, like a real couple. Easy going people. BEAST performed Shock for the students who admire their muscles and voices. The three sisters held in their jealousy when they themselves were once like them.
"You dancing knock me down, oppa," Young Hae approached Kikwang after the performance.
"Gomapta! That really made me feel refreshed." Kikwang showed her his muscles.
-end of school-
Wooyoung sent me home today with a peck on the cheek.
"Annyeong, have a good rest, pumpkin. Saranghae," Wooyoung waved and drove off.
I really enjoyed today. But as soon as I stepped into the house, the atmosphere changed. A familiar female voice was heard. I peeped into the living room and found dad talking to mom who noticed me.
"Ah, Eun Mi." She said.

Chapter 15. Complicated thoughts and date.. bonded us?

[Young Hae's POV]
Aigo, both of my dongsaengs lost their first kiss. What about me? Will Kikwang ever find out? I don't know, but I don't think I could keep everything to myself. I cannot concentrate on my homeworks. Tomorrow is our CCA day. Aiishh. I REALLY need to confess. Omo, my phone is ringing.
"Yoboseyo?"
"Ah, Young Hae? Yah, this is Kikwang!" Exclaimed a cute voice.
Ah, right on time. Young Hae, it's your chance.
"Oh, Kikwang oppa. Annyeonghaseyo. I have something to tell you.."
"Are you free tomorrow? DooJoon hyung, Junhyung hyung, Wooyoung hyung and Chansung are going for a date with you know, the people they love," Kikwang asked politely.
"Ye, I'm free why?"
"Well, I was thinking of asking Eun Mi, but.. She got Wooyoung hyung. So, I figured out you would be lonely, then.. Will you go with me?" Kikwang asked shyly.
"I will. Just message me the details I'll get ready by any time," I answered cheerfully.
Finally! A date with Kikwang oppa! Ah! It's really your luck, Young Hae.

-The Next Morning-
Wooyoung came knocking on my bedroom door. I was curling my lower part of my hair and putting on a tiara for the date. Not really a date, but Wooyoung's parents are having their nephew's arrival. I believed Wooyoung said his cousin was .. Lee Taemin? Well, he is around my age, so I have no problem speaking to him at all.
"You ready, sugar?" Wooyoung teased.
"I am," I gave him my never seen eye smile.
"Wow, your eye smile is just so.. Adorable" Wooyoung compliment as he came over and pinched my nose.
"Gomapta!" I cheered.
We walk out of the house slowly after telling my dad I'll be home late tonight. Wooyoung told me he invited, Kikwang, Chansung, DooJoon and Junhyung. I guess things between Wooyoung and Kikwang is getting better?
-at the ball-
I greeted Wooyoung's parents with a 90 degree bow. His father is really charming. I guess, Wooyoung inherit his looks from his father. Then, we joined in the conversation of DooJoon and Shin Shin, Junhyung and Jin Shin, Kikwang and Young Hae and not to forget, Chansung and Yun Hee.
"All of you stay here while I get my cousin," Wooyoung said as he gave me a light pat on my back.
"Woah, neomu yeoppo, Eun Mi-ah!" Yun Hee exclaimed.
Shin Shin wore a short strapless prom dress and tie her hair into pigtails while Jin Shin wore a black dress and tie her hair into one side pigtails. On the other hand, Young Hae wore a silver dress and tie her hair in to a fishtail braids and Yun Hee wore a white dress with a ribbon on it and she had curls on that night. It was splendid. Wooyoung came back with Taemin who kept smiling. I thought Taemin was a girl. He was pretty to be a girl too.
"Oh! Is this the noona you've been talking about, hyung?" Taemin exclaimed as soon as he saw me.
"Aiishh, ye. It's her." Wooyoung flustered.
"AIGO! Yeoppota ! You really do have a taste, hyung. So how long have you guys been dating?" Taemin asked me unexpectedly.
At the same time, Wooyoung's parents look over Wooyoung's shoulder to make sure we're dating. I cannot disappoint them. Besides I really like Wooyoung. And I want to make sure, I will accept him by tonight.
"1 month." I said without hesitation.
Everyone gasped. Wooyoung gave me a warm smile. He pulled me over to his side and wrapped his arm around my waist. I did the same, so people will know we really are dating. Lies can be lies till the truth comes out. Kikwang didn't say anything at all, surprisingly. Instead, he pulled Young Hae's face closer to his and kissed her. I wasn't hurt at all, too. I was happy for him. He found his true love then.
"I really like you, Kikwang." Young Hae said after the short kiss.
"Well, I lied about liking Eun Mi. But after I met you, I knew, I was attracted to you," Kikwang explained.
Tomorrow is our CCA Day, Yun Hee and I are going to join 2PM's Shuffle dance. While Jin Shin, Young Hae and Shin Shin joined BEAST's Hiphop dance. Maybe this ball bonded us.
-after the ball-
Wooyoung walked me home since he lived near me. I told him I had a great time and with that I gave him a hug.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it," Wooyoung said, sadly.
"You sound sad, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, you haven't answered my proposal the other time."
"Jang Wooyoung," I stopped him from walking and pulled him in front of me.
"You know, I like you. Then why are you thinking about the answer? Isn't it obvious?" I asked Wooyoung firmly.
"You accepted it?"
I nod my head and before I knew Wooyoung's lip touches mine. And we kissed in the middle of the road. If this is what love is all about, I'm loving it.

Chapter 14. Bad Girl, Bad Boy .

[A/N: Annyeonghaseyo! This time it's Jin Shin's story. Triple cheers! hehe]
Ah, What is wrong with me? I kept rejecting my friend's offer to go to the mall. Why am I thinking about Junhyung? I'm not usually into idol type of guys. Like him, but why do I keep thinking about him. Aish, jin jja. What do I do? Ah, someone's calling me now. I'm in the midst of thinking about Junhyung ba- OMO! It's Junhyung !
"Yoboseyo?" I answered nervously.
"Yah, what are you doing today? I want to ask you out." Junhyung answered with a harsh voice.
How rude. I know I'm a bad girl, but don't talk to me like that. Aiish. Jin jja, this guy need some kicking in the balls.
"Yah, don't talk so rudely. I'm free. Where are we going?"
"Movies or dinner?" Junhyung ask politely this time.
"Um, both. I'm greedy you know," I chuckled.
Soon, the both of us agreed and I ran up into my room and put on an oversized puppy tee with shorts and a skater's beret. Grab my big specs [A/N: Fake ones. Don't worry none of our characters wear specs :] ] and quickly put on my Converse Sneakers and walk out of the house. Junhyung arrived 5 minutes late but I wasn't angry, because he planned it at the very last minute. Suddenly, Junhyung hold my hand while walking to his bike. He helped me put on the helmet and I climbed onto his bike and we're already on our way to the cinemas.
-after movies-
The restaurant that Junhyung wanted to bring me is not that far away so we walk together to the restaurant.
"Oh ya, Junhyung oppa, the restaurant, is not those underground type right? [A/N: you know those rock punk people.]" I asked, just to make sure. Because I hate those type.
"AHAHAHA, Anio. Don't be ridiculous." Junhyung laughed at my stupidity.
How am I suppose to know, I'm not those kid who goes to restaurant. I only go to cafes and bars. Aish, jin jja. If this is how you want to get to know a girl, try harder.
-after Dinner-
I waited for Junhyung outside the restaurant since he told me to stay put while he fetch his bike. He better don't let me stay here for the whole night or I'll be kicking his bike. Junhyung arrived, eventually. Even though the restaurant the car park isn't that far, he was still late. I didn't complain much.
-at the gate of Jin Shin's house-
I took off the helmet and handed it to Junhyung. Before I could step into my house's lawn, Junhyung pulled my arm and steal a kiss. I was shocked but I accepted his kiss. So we had a goodnight kiss before I went in and found out Young Hae unnie and Shin Shin unnie staring at me with a smile.
"OMO! YOU KISSED HIM! AH I'M SO HAPPY FOR MY DONGSAENG !" Young Hae unnie shouted causing our mum to scream.
We giggled on the way up to my our room. I guess, I really like Junhyung. Will we be together? For..Ever?
